-1 i know someone called in said you can do walk in at jfk

I did my interview on a walk-in - 7 years ago. They don't do walk-ins anymore, and everyone needs to have an appointment (I know of a couple that needed 2 appointments but there was only available one - so CBP told them to book another appointment for later in the day). I just called JFK CBP office and they confirmed no walk-ins

Will GE for 1 parent help for spouse and 2 kids?
IME i arrived with DW and 1 child at EWR, i needed to do EOA, so we went together to the GE kiosk and asked if they should go separately on the regular line, the rep said its ok here, and processed them first and then made the interview with me.
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

I went as a walk in today in JFK (appointment was for 10/2)
The officer told me with pleasure but you will wait after all appointments, and as my luck their were 6 people before me, so wait time of 35min and done. Bh.

Has anyone gone for an interview at EWR Terminal B? Where is the best place to park?

Like any short airport stop. You can have some1 wait I car or do short term parking across access road.
Always praying for delayed baggage.

Most that have applied for a renewal or new app within the last few weeks have already been approved. Many (myself included) have been waiting 5+ months (for renewals and new apps) is there anyone to contact to complaint too? Seems like they are ignoring most old apps.

I applied in May still shows pending, would it be worth it to reapply? Would I be able to apply my already paid fee to a new application?

I can't imagine that would help, more likely get bogged down more. There are reports on FT of people getting approved after 5 months. On the GE website, they blame the slowdown on the govt shutdown!
That's no reason why people who apply now are getting approved, while others wait.

Many have gotten their conditional approvals (renewal and initial apps) from many months ago. Not everyone received emails notifying them of a status change. Login to your account.

Applied for renewal for DW and I, was approved within a week.
Renewal can be different, hence for the short turnaround.

Each family member needs a separate account?
Under 18yrs can get Nexus for free at any border crossings. But requires you to fill out application the same way you would with GE or TSA!
