intercontinental is closest to chabad. door is electric though.

check out the king david (kosher hotel)

IC is much better location for walking around though
Thank You! If the door is electric, do I have to leave it open the whole shabbos?

Which hotels are near Chabad or other minyanim and our Shabbos compatible?

caruso is next door to chabad & it has regular keys, there is also a hotel in a ship 5 Min. from chabad with regular keys.

I see in the wiki that King David Hotel has a tour to the major places every day.
Anyone ever taken advantage of that?
(Would like to hear someone's point of view, other than the hotel's)

Can't speak for the Intercontinental, but the King David is not upscale or beautiful in any way.
For food, definitely King David over Chabad. They do a grand spread for the Shabbos meals as well as for breakfast every morning.

Does King David have food during the week or just shabbos meals?

I stayed at King David in September. Not sure when @cgr  was there, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It seems they redid. The bathrooms were new, all marble and glass. The beds were very comfortable with good mattresses. We really enjoyed it. (The pictures on their website are not updated). They include free breakfast which had many many choices of food. They have a mini restaurant?/takeout/ cafe on the main floor where you can buy food throughout the day. I didn't try it so can't vouch for it. Supper was buffet style as well with many choices. I think it was 35 EUR per person iirc. I was not there for shabbos.

The hotel is under the supervision of Rabbi Eliyahu Rotenberg from Jerusalem and the Rabbinat kashrut department of the Jewish community in Prague.

I actually had a picture of the teudah from when i was there, but cant seem to locate it now

Did Prauge a few years ago with my wife and baby it was quite easy to get around.
1. Loved chabad Restaurant
2. Boat ride tour at night was nice but full of my cousins sons of ישמעאל
3. I would nothave gone across the charles bridge full of טמא not for my eyes or my sons eyes
4. Went for שחרית to the Alt-Nei shul there was a Minyan later then what Chabad told me I waited by the front door and was asked Questions like which Parsha etc. then for ID
5. Love the cars around the city
6. The tour of the cemetery was boring done by a Shegitz what blobers shtisim but you can`t really gain access another way easy(There is no way you could Davin when there are a bunch of Half naked women on your tour)
7. Did the castle was nice but hard with my baby
8. I stayed in Boscolo prague autograph collection watch which room they give you because not everything is fully accessible with an elevator
9. Never take a Taxi from the hotel because they charge double you should take from a company not a private guy
10. Always walk with a map if you don`t want to end up in the Red district
11. Cafe Shalanu is yummy I don`t know how they make there Israeli Salad so good Amazing Xp

Best story:
I was standing by customs in the Airport and this huge guy in uniform taps my wife and shows us to come with him didn`t know what he wanted as he wasn`t speaking English he takes us to the last customs booth sits himself in and Stamps our passports. Then walks with us to the luggage and wait for ours to come he even brought me a cart when we finished he walks us out looks for a nice big Taxi speaks to him for a minute and then the Taxi driver asked us in english which Hotel we are going and this big guy is putting in our suitcase I was shocked and asked the driver to asked him why he did it he said Baaaaaaaaby! I guess the only word in english he knew I took out $20 but he refused to take it I was shocked he made up a sum with the Taxi driver asked us how we fold our stroller and as we were siting in he did it for us I was totally shocked and he waved us and walked off nothing missing cheap Taxi and VIP checkout.

How can one get a bottle of Kosher rosé in Prague?
Should it be shipped from elsewhere?
