It definitely was not open daily in the past. Things might have changed though.

In 2013, the hours were:
Mondays and Wednesdays between 11am and 3pm, and on Friday between 9am and 1pm.

He considers himself a tour guide but does driving as well.

Very reliable. Jewish guy. Not expensive IME.

HI, I am planning a trip to Prague for 3 days .. without points for the intercontinental, seems the cheapest option is a nice apt I found on booking.com - pretty close to center square.

I have no idea what the area is like .. Do I have to be worried about safety? neighbors around?

Is it worth it to pay for hotel instead?

Please advise!

Chabad was great. I was there with my wife and we sat on round tables with about 8-10 people. It was actually fun. But there were two Chasidishe men that sat on their own table. I guess you could ask for whatever makes you comfortable.

+1.
We davened Shabbos day Mincha at the Altneu-shul and went together with the locals to the jewish community center for Seudas Shlishis.

Food snob: Where to eat and sleep
« Reply #358 on: September 27, 2018, 11:13:47 AM »
We'll be in Prague for a Weds night through Sunday morning in November. My rough plan is to book InterContinental and plan on eating at Chabad on shabbos (we speak English and my Hebrew's not great and it'd be nice to meet people- is that likely)?

I'm a bit of a food/value snob. I'll be annoyed with a small portion, wilted veggies, not enough meat in the sandwich, just heimish food on the menu, poor service. Where am I most likely to enjoy for weekdays?

Has anyone eaten in both King Solomon and Dinitz (or either) for Shabbos meals? Which would you recommend?
