There is no kosher store. There is not really any kosher food there at all aside from the restaurants. We were told by the Chabad that Mars brand candy is kosher.

Many products are made in England (under the vaads there) and shipped throughout Europe. I would check the labels of the food products for where they are manufactured.

Reading thru this thread, it seems like the intercontinental is the best option for shabbos, are they accommodating with late checkout motzei shabbos? And is it a nice hotel?

Intercontinental is by far the best option. However, you may be abke to save $100 or more a night by staying at the President Hotel.

With regard to Moitzei Shabbos the Intercontinental will make you pay for an extra night. The President allows paying $60 for late checkout, which IME they will offer to  waive if you write a nice reviews on TA.

Hotel Maximillian is another great option for Shabbos.
