The bags Starbucks sell aren't terrible. Their coffee they make in store generially is. If you want a good cup walk in, pick up a bag of Sumatra or their Guatemala blend and hand it to them and ask for a French press or pourover.

Many locations aren't that agreeable to making a pourover or a French.

I've found it really depends on the personality of the barista, and how busy the store is at the time. I never ask for a pour over when it's a busy time because although they technically "have to" make it for you, I don't feel that it's nice - and they sometimes can resent it. Those times, I just ask for a blonde, which is usually okay...

I keep switching it up. Most are excellent. I'm not a fan of the lungos in general but the rest are great

Back to coffee, I have a cup of Starbucks (call me crazy) Pike Place in the morning, and a cup of (usually) Green Mountain Nantucket Blend in the afternoon.

Green mountain is good stuff. Hard to find whole beans in stores outside of new England though.

I use a Keurig, so those are actually the easiest get.
