What type of food and what class of place? You want good eatery food or classy restaurants?
And what level of reliable hashgacha are you looking for?

Prob one classy place and one more casual.

In terms of hasgacha, I would say higher than mehadrin but still unclear how complicated the situation is there

IMHO, add salt (and pepper, and whatever other flavor you like - and sesame seeds!):
Fleishig/fish:
Atza has great Chinese and sushi but is more casual. Also mobbed at specific times of day/week, but pleasant during quiet times.
Classy is harder. Entrecote is popular, but I personally didn't enjoy the food (maybe I ordered the wrong stuff). I heard good things about Red Heifer but never had the pleasure (also not sure about the hechsher).

Milchigs:
Doctor Pizza is now in Har Chotzvim, and during work hours will probably be quiet. This should be classified as casual but maybe they made the place nicer when they moved.
Ricotta across from Entrecote is classy. Skyline if you eat Rabbi Wiener.

Miro's falafel is the best in the country, IMHO. Casual.

Is there some sort of list of Israeli hechsherim and their standards?
Like a comparison chart with which US hechser they are similar to?

My understanding is that trying to compare Us vs Israeli heschsherim is like comparing apples and oranges. In general what I have heard: Badatz Eidah Hachareidus, R Landua, R Rubin, and Sheiris are the good hechsherim. After that you have Kehilos and Machpud (Which is best for sfardim). After that you have Chsam Sofer Bnei Brak and Machzikei Hadas Belz. At the very bottom of the list is Rabanut and Chsam Sofer Petach Tikva which are worse then Triangle-K (they hold Triangle-k is a good hechsher). Im sure I missed a bunch but thats what comes to mind.

IIUC All Rabanut are on the same level due to the fact they are required to accept any product certified by any Rabanut.

Except of Rabanut Rechovot Rav Rubin which is a more accepted hechsher.

My understanding about Rabanut, is that regular Rabanut is always weak because they have to accept all Rabanut products as kosher.
But Rabanut Mehadrin is dependent on the standard of the Chief Rabbi of that place.

*Partial List of Israeli Hecsherim*

This list was complied in Av 5782 (August 2022) after collecting feedback from Kashrus experts.

Kashrus in Eretz Yisroel changes constantly  so be sure to confirm with a Kashrus expert that this list is still current.

This list is primarily intended for Parave and Milchigs, for Meat obviously one should only eat from a kashrus with the highest standards.

*Excellent*
Rabbi Landau
Eidah Hacharedis

*Very Good*
Rabbi Rubin
Vadat Tenuva Mehadrin (Rabbi Gross and Rabbi Weitman)
Badatz Tzfas ( *not Rabbanut Tzfas Mehadrin* )
Sh’eiris Yisroel (some Lubavitchers stay away from it, *not* due to Kashrus concerns)
Rabbi Efrati Mehadrin
ZNT (Zichron Nosson Tzvi)
Rabbi Yurkewitz
Rabbi Ashkenazi

*Generally ok but proceed with caution*
Agudas Yisroel
Badatz Kehilos
Rabbi Machpud
Rabbi Mordechai Gross
OU
Iggud Harabonim Manchester
Rabbi Yeruslavsky
Rabbi Havlin

*Weak*
(Only consume after thoroughly investigating)
Chasam Sofer Bnei Brak
Rabbanut Yerushalyim Mehadrin (not *Mehuderet* )

*Not acceptable at all*
Chasam Sofer Petach Tikvah
Belz
Beis Yosef
Badatz Nevei Tzion
Badatz Maor Hakashrus / Rabbi Levinger
Badatz Shatz / SKS

Rabanut Mehadrin from any city is also not acceptable since generally they accept all the above mentioned Hecsherim in their establishments (unless you have verified otherwise with a Kashrus expert)
Shloffen Shloft Zich
