Anyone ever try Regina in Tel Aviv.

http://www.reginarest.co.il/אודות/הכשרות-שלנו/
Prices are quite high, wow.
Interesting approach, not paying the Rabbanut for it’s “Mehadrin” certificate, and instead getting a separate attestation as to the Kashrus level in addition.
I was under the impression that most Mehadrin restaurants that have another hechsher do that.

I didn't want to get involved in this as these arguments rarely make a difference in anyone's mindset, but you keep on pushing this point.
I'm not sure if you are being intentionally misleading or if you were unfortunately mislead but Rabbanut and the Eida are not differing in what they hold about this. The fruit and vegetables reach them at different halachik stages. Tevel vs Demai (or safek). The Eida agrees that at the Rabbanut stage they need to do it the way they do, and the Rabbanut agrees they would do it the way the Eida does at their stage. Your misinformation is doing no favors for anyone.

I don’t think that Demai exists in today’s day and age. More like sfek-Tevel. I don’t disagree with you on the misportrayal of the Eida policy as it relates to מעשרות.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I just walked by El Gaucho Ramat Gan and it was dark. Peeked through the window and all the tables/chairs/booths are gone. A quick Google search reveals that it is permanently closed. Who knew?

End of an era. Thanks for the memories...

Did not know they had that as an option. The one time I ended up there the food was really nothing special. Some of it was quite tasteless

There used to be a milchig, health restaurant on Yaffa, maybe near Strauss. Is it still there? Are there other whole grain, milchig restaurants now?

Thanks

This place?

My grandparents absolute favorite. I couldn't stand it when I was younger, with a slightly more restricted palate.

Google Maps shows this on the south side of Yaffa, with no street view available. The other place was on the north east corner of a street that was further up. It had a Belz hechser, as of 9 years ago.

Agvania at Shlomziyon 4 in Jerusalem is now under Rabbi Weiner's hashgacha. Mention his name for 10% off

A little googling shows village green was under belz at some point (seems to be rabanut mehadrin now).

ETA: They might have moved. This is a picture of where it at least used to be:
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Village+Green/@31.7813313,35.2197379,3a,75y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1sAF1QipPE8LQImADpVBLwVLxHYrCxlmv9fVxuqZ2Lkw3X!2e10!3e12!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipPE8LQImADpVBLwVLxHYrCxlmv9fVxuqZ2Lkw3X%3Dw203-h270-k-no!7i3120!8i4160!4m5!3m4!1s0x150329d7283c6077:0xf2b6e2b96a68ae0f!8m2!3d31.7813343!4d35.2198241

And this is where google sends you now:
https://www.google.com/maps/@31.781376,35.219709,3a,58.1y,339.71h,85.44t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipNMJZlLehKn5sG97nEvRqGq_F4dubiQOvYtrRq4!2e10!3e11!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipNMJZlLehKn5sG97nEvRqGq_F4dubiQOvYtrRq4%3Dw203-h100-k-no-pi-3.5489645-ya7.5138426-ro-5.375412-fo100!7i5376!8i2688

Seems clear this is not your place though, as it's also on the south side, and not super close to Strauss.

Saw this advertised.

No experience using them, but it seems like it's geared towards Americans.
