I just signed up for liberty, but now I hear that people aren’t getting paid and I’m getting nervous.
Does anyone have any experience with them?

Did some research in a few months ago. I heard that intakes some time and sending in the bills more then once but everything gets paid. (A friend had a 30k bill)

I'm not sure why anyone here, besides CM, would pick Liberty Health Share over United Refuah...

Because it's larger, been around for years with hundreds of thousands satisfied customers...

I thought that since Liberty was around longer,
that it would be more stable. But now I’m not so sure...
It has a longer proven track record. And has many more people in the pool that don't go to the doctor as often as Jewish mothers

You guys are funny. Do you really think that United Refuah doesn't have actuaries who calculate the risk, etc?

I understand why someone would prefer to go to a more established Healthshare company. If it goes belly up ppl can bw screwed with tens of thousands of dollors

Some of the higher ups in Liberty Health Share moved over to URHS.
I remember seeing that in one of the healthshare threads. That means that they did the right thing, but it still doesn't mean that ppl would be comfortable with them.

Before I signed up with Liberty I called a bunch of ppl to find out if they pay, how long it takes, doctors accepting etc. I had a long conversation with someone that had a surgery with a 30k bill to hear how long it took to be reimbursed.

I found noone that had URHS that I was able to verify..🤷

How long did it take for the guy with the 30k bill to get reimbursed?

2-3 months until he was reimbursed fully.

Liberty.

The bill is over a year old, I'm no longer a member with them. At the time of service, I was with them though.

So which health share plan is good?

Anyone using the Christian share plan?

Anyone still using Liberty Healthshare?
Some of their recent and upcoming changes make this seem not worth it anymore. Refuah healthshare may be a better healthshare option.
