The user I changed over from sprint to visible just had a bunch of text messages come hours later....
I hope this isnt normal....

A family member left my group because they were having service issues. At random times the service just stopped working even though I was in the same spot and there was service there for me. They had to toggle airplane mode on and off and even that sometimes didn't work.

Sounds eerily familiar. Wait a few days to see if it's a constant issue.

Also, happens to me about once a week. 90% of the time I toggle on/off airplane mode, otherwise restart my phone. But i need verizon and this is by far the best (cheapest) way to get unlimited.

Google Pixel? I wouldn't advise switching if you're going to use a Pixel with them.

what issues have you seen with pixel?
I have a family member who has it and it's been working relatively fine.
would like to know whether we should expect issues down the line and should change phones already now..

Twice in the last year I had a Pixel software update break Visible service. The 1st time it took them 12 hours to fix. The 2nd time was 2-3 hrs. There was also an issue with the Pixel over a year ago where they couldn't fix it and ended up sending everyone a new Pixel 3a XL (I wasn't a customer at the time). The only lingering issue I have with the Pixel on Visible is with voicemail notifications not showing up until you open the Phone app - so I sometimes go a few days before I realize I have a voicemail. This didn't happen when I was on post-paid Verizon.

My 2 lines on Visible with iPhones seem to have less (no?) problems.

The only thing you are dependent on is them continuing to be a customer. If they cancel service you just find another rando on Reddit. They have no access to your billing info; all they see is your first name.

Similar. Cricket is AT&T, Visible is Verizon. It all depends on what gives you better coverage in your area. Cricket throttles you to 8Mbps whereas Visible started out throttling but then removed the throttle. I haven't noticed any throttling on my data speeds yet. I don't think the Cricket $100 plan supports hotspot, whereas Visible supports "unlimited" hotspot (1 connected device at a time) at a 600Kbps.

just came upon this thread. In TR NJ, have a Verizon & Visible phone (both iphones), Service is equal on both.
