Also, happens to me about once a week. 90% of the time I toggle on/off airplane mode, otherwise restart my phone. But i need verizon and this is by far the best (cheapest) way to get unlimited.

Here's an honest review.

Service quality is on par with verizon prepaid (and dare I say maybe even better sometimes). The issue I have is with the service just stopping around once a week, which toggling on and off airplane mode fixes. But the unlimited hotspot (albeit one connection, but I don't need more) makes up for that forsure.

But by far the best thing about visible is their Customer Service. Now I know you can't call, and only chat, but I have never ever seen such knowable CS. They know what's coming on the next app update, they know the exact date that more stock of certain phones are coming back in stock. With other places (especially amazon) chatting with a rep is horrendous, and they don't understand a blasted thing of what you are talking about, here they know exactly what you want and are able to fix it over chatting. Verizon CS on the other hand is impossible to get ahold of and are never helpful.

My experience has been the opposite. Maybe CS knows what the company shares with them, but the frontline CS doesn't know anything about troubleshooting technical issues. Their troubleshooting doesn't go past "reboot your phone", "remove and re-insert your SIM card" and "reset your network settings." In every single case they had to escalate to 2nd level support which takes 24hrs. In most cases the issue resolves itself in a few hours and by the time 2nd level takes a look at it it's working.

I have a ton of prepaid lines with Verizon and never an issue via chat. I know someone who has both and Verizon has no issues and Visible is horrendous with issues mentioned here.

I have someone using a 6s in Brooklyn and service was very poor yesterday. Text not going thru and web not working.
Airplane mode toggle didnt help but finally power cycling the phone helped.
Not reliable texting is annoying

Visible is an experimental service. The service is routed through a few proxy servers around the country where it is passed over the IMS core rather than the regular Verizon system. You wind up with an IP address from where the proxy server is.
