IHG Royal Ambassador Status

I have stayed at Inter hotels for 100+ nights for last
year and was not invited to the Royal Ambassador level
I was wondering if anyone knows exactly how to achieve
this level as a few years ago I was receiving it automatically
each year for 60-70+ nights per year yet over the last few
years I cannot seem to get answers on why 100+ nights per year
does not qualify ? This seems to be the worst hotelreward program

From what I understood was that's it's by percentage meaning u have to be in top 5-10% (not exactly sure) of people who stay at intercontinental hotels so could be before u were in that bracket and now u neeed more nights to get into that bracket

I stayed (last year) 122 nights - I find it impossible to accept
1/3 of year staying at a hotel does not qualify
The chain and specific hotels claim they do not know
what are the qualifications..
Unless someone stays the entire year ?
It makes no sense

Wow 122 nights at intercontinental hotels (not any other brands in ihg family bc those don't qualify for ambassador status) that's impressive so yea I can't help u then

I would suggest you get some contact info for the higher ups, but I'll leave it to others to tell you where to start.

I'll ask the obvious: you -do- have regular Ambassador status, right?
