Air Transat airline in Canada

Does anyone have any feedback on flying from Canada to Israel on Air Transat in Montreal? Direct round trip tickets are less that $800 compared to $1400 in New York.  Looking for overall feedback on the planes, service etc...  Also looking for info if there might be a minyan on the flight and is kosher food available on the flight.

I'll be on their TLV-YUL flight in mid July. No experience yet though. Kosher meal was an option when booking.

they are just like any mainstream airline besides that they have more fees on certain things, i would not compare them to wow or norwegian

As the 2nd largest A310 operator in the world (only behind Mahan Air in Iran), I booked a short domestic Canadian flight with them, to fly the A310 before it's gone.

Turns out that they swapped my flight from an A310 to an A330 recently :(

Regular people would be happy with the newer plane, built in IFE etc.. This is purely an avgeek problem.
