I wanted to share a kabbalah I made when I put in my video doorbell. I BH was able to keep to it, and I just thought that maybe others may want to do the same.
When I put in my doorbell, I made a kaballah to never ignore the doorbell after I saw it was a meshulach. I reasoned that the purpose of me putting in a video doorbell was for safety and convenience, but I would never take advantage of it to get out of a mitzva. Even my wife knows that if I'm not up to going to the door, I don't check it. But if I check it to see if I should answer, I will never say, "it's just a meshulach" and ignore the door.
