Continuing our Summer trip this year IYH, we only have 13 states left!
We plan on doing around ten this year, but don't see anything for North and South Dakota.

We plan on spending the nine days between both states.

Anyone ever been?
Quite a few of you have it checked off in the "Which States Have You Been To" thread.

Prob not much of a help but I remember driving there as a kid from Chicago. it was a crazy long and boring drive, not much to see along the way. Of the top of my head I remember seeing Mount Rushmore, The Badlands, Wall Drug and an Air Force base. There were also a million motorcycles on the roads, I think every summer they have a massive motorcycle rally, convention party or whatever you wanna call it.

I second Teddy Roosevelt np. It's right off the interstate, and there's a neat historical town, medora, a few miles down the road.
