Need to receive it by 12/31. Doesn't seem like it's going to happen for the 35K car :(
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

$7.5K federal credit ends 12/31. Anyone going for one?
I placed my reservation over 2 years ago on the announcement date. I got a notification about 2 months ago asking me to send my configuration and it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks but I'm really holding out for them to make the base model (35k). Long range model is 49k which is just too much for me when I was really expecting 35k - 7.5k (fed deduction) - 2k (NYS deduction) = 25.5k.

Hopefully I will still be able to get it before 12/31 but now I'm getting worried it won't be available in time.

Yeah thats why I'm not sure if I should wait and get half the deduction ($3,750) or if I should just go for the 49k version

Whats the difference if you charge immediately to 90% or if you schedule 90% at 8am? Its at 90% regardless when it charges

Some electricity providers charge different rates for off peak hours
Additionally in nyc there is a program from coned that gives rewards for charging at night

The battery is best kept at 50% holding it at 90% is straining the battery, which ideally you want to do for the least time possible.
