That was my experience with them dating back to pre Dan's Deals days. (Back in the 90s the had some kind of an error fare where JFK-MAD-TLV was pricing in the low $400s if the TLV-MAD segment was booked in J. The flight experience TLV-MAD was terrible. Lights stayed on, no IFE, no snacks, flight attendants didn't show up when called.
