Otherwise, they will automatically expire as transferring points does not constitute activity.
But if you have the BA Chase card with active spending, then you should be fine? Right?
Anyone have the points post recently? Am I being unrealistic hoping for them?
Four out of my five accounts posted, but one remains in limbo. I'm quickly losing hope. Having failed via email x 3 and phone x 2, I am trying via twitter DM a last ditch effort either to get the points or to have them cancel and refund. If that fails, I'll file charge-back with Amex.
I've already been refunded without explanation, they insist I'll still be getting it, but as soon as I mention how late it's been etc I get no reply.
In theory... I would make a dummy booking and cancel right away. It would cost $5.60 in fees, but well worth the 90k

They can ban you over a negative balance.
From the FF program, not the airline, I presume?
First of all the airline as well. Ask Lucky.Second - being banned from the FF program might be worse then being banned from the airline.
Lucky isn't banned from UA, he's banned from MP.
Wasn't a period of time from both?
Though what he did is worse than what ppl did here. He legit committed fraud.
What did he do? I thought it was basicly what Dan used to do with bumping flights.
