Is "CO credit on the Plat cards" the airline credit like the american airlines we tried last time?
How can someone else use your airline credit? Gift cards?

The first time I signed up for the AMEX Platinum my points posted right after spending the required $1,000 -- that was a few years ago.  I recently applied and my points are pending and THEY CAN'T push them through. I even paid the $450 already because it was showing I had a balance still and that was apparently the problem.   Now I am hearing rumors they don't pro-rate the charges anymore when cancelling after 30 days. The problem is according to what I've heard/seen the points aren't going to past until after that!!      Anyone have any luck recently cancelling and getting back your money?!
