Honestly I think calling Schwab or fidelity would be your best bet to get a straight answer.

It seems with Schwab you will lose a week of interest. With Fidelity and Treasury Direct you do not lose any days of interest. Maybe someone here can tell us this is true.

True. But it is FDIC insured (supposedly).

If it was Schwab or Fidelity (I have both) I could give you step by step instructions. I found this post and it says you have to call Chase. I would call them anyway and they should be able to walk you through it.
