What you call logic isn't based on math/statistics/probability.  It's based on your feelings.  You "FEEL" like having one maxed out card is meaningless.  What statistics over the general population do you have to back up your assertion?  Have you de-personalized millions of credit files, crunched the data and come to that conclusion?   No. You just "FEEL" like that's logical.

AMEX backdating (RIP).
Bumping inquiries (RIP). 
AU's. 
Piggybacking.
Asking to have "duplicate" inquires removed
