I would say put that on the list. If they don't like paying with cash I am sure they don't like this.

Look at it from their side. Why is someone paying your CC bill? You don't have the funds? Maybe they are using the card and paying it off?

im not arguing, just saying that its not like cash. And the fact that they are looking back nearly a year...

so any one succeeded to get reopened from last Fridays shutdowns ?
have few costumer's - relative's got there credit cards shutdown
they don't bank with chase, and yes part of the NY tri state area shutdowns

You can get a Quick pay from someone that chase doesn't like, and you'll promptly get your accounts shut down.

That must be your fault that you didn't know the sender was someone chase doesn't like....

I've heard of temporary locks for that. You have DP of account closure for that?

Myself and others are waiting for the letter AFAIK none of the friday shutdowns got the letter yet... though its most likely one of the real generic reasons.

One second, no bank account with chase whatsoever? Not joint on someone else or some savings account that was never used etc.?
If that's the case they may have a better shot in getting reopened depends on the reason which likely there is one available...

There are many people that had their CC's closed and their bank accounts kept open, myself included.

There are many different variables here, I'm a DP that even with walking away from Chase Banking can still get you closed down.
