The first thing that came to mind when I read that was the sub-prime mortgage crash.

Banks are hyper sensitive to money laundering nowadays. Even if what you’re doing is not even close to money laundering, if you trigger an AML alert good luck.

I'm opening new Chase credit cards now... Wouldn't closing my bank account trigger a Chase review?? Any recommendations for new bank to go with? Chase has been so easy and convenient for me!

If non-standard activity includes having someone else do spending on cc and having them pay up with their account, then I think I may run into some trouble down the road, Don't you think?

I did that all the time until now. Should I deposit the money into a different bank and then pay it?

I'm starting to get scared from this thread and I'm thinking of cashing out my points. I anyways don't travel so I have no need for airline miles. Does it make sense to do that?
