Yes I checked. You can search "completed listings" and see the auctions that ended.

IMHO YYMV - they can't check every listing out there.

I responded but they never got back to me. When I call them I get a rep in india and we all know what that does for us. . .

I would recommend you to look who this guys are posting it (what category, Title etc) this might be the factor how ebay FR's you and not them

you can simply go to any Completed listing and "sell one like this".

I was an ebay power seller at one point. They usually shut down listings when people report them. Alot of times other sellers will flag listings to knock them off so their own listings sell.

Around a year and a half ago I listed 2 Amazon gift cards on ebay. 1 was about $55 sold for like $75 the other one was like $70 sold for $85. Both buyers filed complaints that their ebay accounts were hacked and it was an unauthorized purchase.
Paypal refunded the money because I emailed the gift card and could not prove that they were delivered.
They were smart both gift cards (2 separate buyers) were used b y different names than the one on the ebay accounts (I spent a long time on the phone with Amazon).
Just a warning just because things sell for more than their value doesnt mean its a good idea.

At the end paypal agreed to give me the money for 1 of them. They ended up posting it twice so I still made money on the deal but the $10 or so that I made was not worth the hours I spent on the phone.

I've sold a handful of gift cards on ebay for around $15 more than they were worth. I never had any problems and always made sure to write down the card number before hand just to be on safe side. I still don't see why anyone would buy these at above value price. I even went back to check on one of the sales to see what it was used for. The lady paid her Sprint bill and something else the day she received it. Who knows!!!

Recently my grandmother told me "I just got this thing its called a debit card, its just like a credit card but it just takes the money straight from your account" I just smiled. She said she needed it to pay her bills.

Update: I relisted the amex gc on ebay as a BIN. I listed at 12 midnight and was sold at by 7 AM. The buyer paid me and I mailed out the gc. Two days after the "auction" ended -(which is today) - I got an email from ebay saying the listing was removed. The whole history of that sale was deleted and now we both can't leave feedback.
I have no problem with that, the only thing I'm nervous about now is that the buyer is going to claim to paypal that the listing was deleted and I didn't keep my part and they want their money back. (Remember, I can't leave feedback so the buyer has no worries about that) .
I'm thinking that maybe the buyer flagged the listing after purchasing in order to scam me.
should I be nervous? Am I just overly paranoid? Any suggestions / tips that I should do at this point?

When suspicious of fraud, I'd call up eBay, explain the issue, and ask them to take note of it, and ask for a case ID, so that if the other guy complains, they've been forewarned.

I mailed it with certified mail, so it has a label/tracking number.
Wat do u mean that I can't leave negative feedback for a buyer?

One ebay only sellers can get negative feedback, they stopped negative to a buyer for a while already as it would deter buyers from leaving negative feedback.

I knew guys pretty high up there.

The ONE thing Amazon needs to get all my business is to allow sorting by price PLUs shipping (anyone have a way to do that?)
