Swapping seats on British Business Class
« on: June 28, 2018, 01:23:23 PM »
Asking for a friend: He booked 4 tickets in British Business Class and the BA  rep who booked it over the phone for him assigned the wrong seats to each person.  For whatever reason he cant just tell the people to swap seats.  He has called a bunch of times and is being told by many reps that its impossible for them to switch the seat assignments.  Anyone have any suggestions?

If he has the booking references, can't he just do it on line?

only works if there are other seats to switch to and also creates somewhat or a risk of losing those seats

he can do it all at once without saving the changes until everyone is in the right seats and then there is no risk of losing the seats,, for instance if they are 10a,b,c,d he can go into the reservation move 10a the 11j and then move 10c to 10a and then move the original 10a to 10c and then click save changes

You sure about that on BA? Lots of airlines make you save the changes first to release the old seats back into inventory, then can go back and re-select.
