For 120k Alaska miles, may as well cash it in before 8/1 right? Like I won't be getting less than if I'd do it direct and they're just throwing in a 7 day voucher, right?

Just did it. Call the Malaysian line. IN under 5 minutes issued the transfer. 120 AS and 7 day voucher.

I.e. My as well transfer with the travel package if I'm anyways planning to transfer that amount of spg points into Airline miles. No one wrote it clearly so I was confused what was the down side. Finally found milevalue spell it out clearly that way.
