So its still worth it, Because if you want to buy a ticket for Business class, price is around $3500 and miles would cost you $1800

Mad worth it. Correct. Also keep in mind you can get stopovers. If you normally pay for Business sometimes it might be worth it to buy points from Amex at $0.025/MR. Amex sells up to (I think) 500,000/yr per acct, and it must  be done as a specific transfer - you can't buy them and keave them in your acct.


 It might be worth it now with the 40% bonus on MR>BA transfers, + the 50% BA reward fare sale.

CO only started doing that less than 2 months ago. And yes US is different

Well there is an "award processing fee" that you don't have with CO.
And US charges $$$ for date/routing changes that are free with CO.
And they don't allow changes to partner tickets after travel starts that CO does allow.
And they don't allow OW redemption like CO does.
And F redemptions to places like TLV are higher than CO.
And no expanded elite availability like with CO.

All in all it's not bad, but it ain't CO.

Correct. The 50k limit is for this promo.
