Advice on booking 13 rooms near Long Island?
« on: July 01, 2018, 06:12:49 PM »
Hi, I got stuck with planning a hotel for a shabbat kallah for this August and was wondering if anyone here knew of any good deals for group bookings. We're about 50 people and are hoping to stay near Long Island, but if there is a cheaper price nearby we'll consider that as well. Thanks in advance!!!

The crowne plaza in Danbury looks great, but they said it's not worth it to drive 2 hours... anything else local that's a nice hotel and relatively cheap? Looking to spend 100 or less per room

Hyatt Greenwich gave us great packages for "family rooms" one double and one king room for basically the standard rate plus $95. So 2 rooms for the price of 1. But dont call the hotel direct. We got it from Hyatt main phone number. The hotel group office wanted more per room and didnt give us the family plan discounts. They only allow you to book 9 rooms at a time.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.
