Neighbor phone call spamming

Anyone know a way of blocking similar phone number spams to my cell phone. Manually blocking each number won’t work since they always find a new number to use.

I think the government has a website where you put your phone number in and it will stop all telemarketers from calling your number. Forgot what the site what called though.

Do Not Call registry doesn't stop scammers in Nigeria

Join the club, it's the latest thing. In the span of a few minutes 3 people here also just got the same nonsense call in Chinese. Literally this happened about 10 minutes ago.

And like you said blocking serves no purpose because each time is a new number.

The can enter what ever number they want should be displayed as the caller ID, if you'll start blocking all numbers you can block all numbers in the phone book, I received a call 1234567890 as the ID.

They spoof call using real peoples numbers that are similar to yours. So you are blocking real people who never actually called you.

Had the same thing lately on my tmobile phone.
 Is there no way to track these people down?

Its no big deal at all I use a program where I type in the number to display on your ID

Phone numbers: no big deal
Ip: impossible since it needs to know which ip to communicate with unless it's a one way communication, you can still have a proxy and have the proxy fwd everything to your ip,
Emails: depends if it's  signed/encrypted  with SPF dkim dmarc

I periodically get calls from aisian phone numbers.  They generally only ring twice. If I pickup and say hello, a woman says "Hi, how are you" in a chirpy American accent and then the line cuts out.  What are they trying to do?
