Definitely not.
Do you really think these people who refuse to be seated next to female passengers never fly with any other airlines? How come we never hear about this with other airlines?
I'm sure there is a percentage of travelers that will only ask ElAl to switch seats as they think that a jewish company will look more favorable on switching for religious purposes
We do. I've seen these stories on DL for sure, and possibly UA as well.
1. It's definitely the most traveled route and airline by charaidim.
2. Being that they deal with it on a daily basis they have less patience for it.
3. They definitely have less respect for charaidim then the other airlines.
4. There are ppl that think that if the FA can't find a seat they will end up in J
While I've always manages to switch by asking someone else myself, some ppl will never give up their aisle/window seat and sit in the middle. That kills me.
But as mentioned above, 99% understand that a Chillul Hashem is NOT the way to go.
