Not trying to bash.
But you are, because your blaming the "chareidim", even though their the victim here, for being victimized by an anti Torah press, and an anti frum Elal.
And I'm curious why this problem causes you to speak out while the original problem they're 'hiding' behind doesn't.
This an issue I've seen with my own eyes numerous times.
I speak out because this is an untruth where my fellow brothers have been besmirched time and time again by the secular and even so called frum press. I speak out, for there is hardly anyone to speak truth. There is enough to people to attack and besmirch the frum, but for truth, unfortunately not that many.
What do you mean by "their hiding behind"? What problem are they hiding behind?
I'm not speaking out against 'charedim' btw... though you're right .. it's mostly them doing these things.. but not all charedim do this.
There you go attack the Chareidim again...
But they are Jews... And as a fellow Jew it's embarrassing and a major chilul Hashem.
1. Please don't be so embarrassed to be a Jew. Try to work on your confidence a bit, instead of being embarrassed by what other Jews do? Perhaps their trying to be more makpid on certain mitzvos and issurim that your not being makpid on, so is that a Chillul Hashem?
2. What defines a Chillul Hashem? Is putting on Teffilin in an airport or on a plane a Chillul hashem? It's definitely weired and archaic, no? Is not touching foreign women a Chiillul hashem? It's definitely something secular western society frowns upon. It's also definitely awkward when a women sticks her hand out to shake yours, and you don't shake it. Isn't that a Chillul Hashem, because it looks weired and it could embarrass her?
