No, though if you are concerned ask them to put the espresso directly into the cup as opposed to a glass shot glass.

You have to make sure that the flavoring they're using has a hechsher.

It does. In fact, they all do with very few exceptions, so whoever was worried about that was overblowing it.
ETA: I actually believe they are all kosher with no exceptions. But don't rely on that without checking please. The Caramel Sauce is a different story, but not confusable with syrup

Right, IINM they really only use Torani syrups and those have a hechsher (not sure if all do but definitely all the basic ones do.)

The Star K has some serious issues with PR. Between this and the beer after Pesach thing, you'd think someone would learn how to articulate positions without sounding like the world ended.
