This guy literally proved Ben Shapiros point. The reason income levels are low in black communities is (at least partially) because of the high number of births to unwed mothers, not vice versa. When anyone comes yelling that the black community has low income because they're victims, you can use this data to explain why they're wrong.
If low income is caused by single parents, that is exactly what people mean when they say low income is because they're victims.
Being born to a single parent is the epitome of victimhood and inequity. The point BS is alluding to is that races aren't equal (as was widely believed until 100 years ago) and black people are genetically more inclined to undisciplined behaviors, causing them to have kids out of wedlock in a similar fashion to how they earn less by demonstrating predisposition to lower income gradiently corresponds to the likelihood of other adverse outcomes in a spectrum of races.
The perfect refutation
@Randomex posted is that race isn't necessarily causing both of the effects, race is causing one of the effects (likelihood of lower income or likelihood of birth out of wedlock), which is in turn causing the second effect without regard to race. Putting the two metrics next to each other reveals nothing and is no way 'vital'.
Of course, BS's chart is even stupider than that, 'Household' income will obviously be lower in a households with 1 parent, it doesn't tell you anything about underlying trends.
not vice versa.
How can you extrapolate from the data what is the cause and what is the effect? The data would just as well support the opposite conclusion that having low income makes you more likely to have a child out of wedlock?
In truth IMHO they both cause each other. היינו דאמרי אינשי: בתר עניא אזלא עניותא
