For years I wouldn't consider touching an Apple product. It was Palm -> BB -> Android, until I was forced to switch to iOS if I wanted mobile access to corporate email. There are lots of frustrating things with the iPhone, but the build quality is by far superior to anything Samsung put out.
I actually switched to the LG VN220 several months ago, and keep my old iPhone to use with wifi (or my LG as a Hotspot) whenever I need something that requires a smartphone.
While iOS can be frustrating and annoying for tech savvy users, I can definitely see reasons for it, and I think it is overall tighter and safer than almost any android build. That being said, my greatest current frustration is the fact that since the corporate IT department decided to switch their MDM provider to Microsoft Intune, SwiftKey (which is superior to iOS keyboards in almost every aspect) gets disabled when using built-in Contacts or email apps. Even worse is the fact that the forced switching to iOS keyboards whenever using contacts, messes up the keyboard once you want to use an app that is allowed to use SwiftKey.
Oh. And did I ever mention that I hate Steve Jobs for taking away physical keyboards and buttons?
