The game Onitama is now a free-to-play app. It's a smaller game in which the range of moves available to you (with any piece)
are on cards. There are 2 cards in front of each player and one in the center. When a player makes a move, the card they used
goes into the center and the card already in the center goes in front of them. The moves thus circulate between the players.
(There are 16 cards, but only 5 are used in each match, making the game pretty variable.)

It is Friday so: Unlike the other pieces, pawns cannot move backwards. Normally a pawn moves by advancing a single square, but the first time a pawn moves, it has the option of advancing two squares. Pawns may not use the initial two-square advance to jump over an occupied square, or to capture. Any piece immediately in front of a pawn, friend or foe, blocks its advance.

No, you’re right actually, I read the earlier conversation too fast, and misunderstood the question. I was trying to make up for you winning before.. although en passant is still a cool rule that unfortunately too many young “grasshoppers” don’t know
