UPDATED: The Hilton Aspire credit card from American Express now comes with two semi-annual $200 credits, one each half a calendar year, which can be used towards room rates, taxes, spas, meals, and other incidentals at any of the 200+ hotels listed here.

There are three ways to purchase someone's credit for use towards your room rate:

1)Use their card to book a prepaid rate online

2) Have them make you an AU and then use that card to pay for your room at check-in

Obviously, option 1 is more desirable than 2, or

3) Have the buyer send you a personalized link that pays to the resort.

Which is obviously the best.

$400 Hilton Resort Credit
Hilton Honors Aspire Card Members approved prior to October 19, 2023 will receive up to $250 in statement credits per membership year for eligible purchases made directly with participating Hilton Resorts through December 31, 2023. Starting January 1, 2024, Card Members can receive up to a total of $200 in statement credits semi-annually (January through June; and July through December), for up to $400 back annually for eligible purchases made directly with participating Hilton Resorts on their Card Account.

Per the terms you shouldn't have gotten a resort credit this year if you opened after 10/19.

yes. however, amex chat agent told me as a new cardholder i'd still get $250 credit in 2023 and another $400 in 2024.
i have that in writing, fwiw.
he also said i'd get $250 flight incidentals for 2023, and enrolled me with ua. i got those credits, $300 in total, incl new $50 q4 benefit.

the agent did put me on hold and double-check with supervisor before making his claims.


that's why i wanted to know if @Pittsburgher CB charged $250+ but got only $200 resort credits for 2023.

Buying credits for $125! Please pm. Note that sellers have 1.5-2 weeks left before credits expire. Typically want the transaction in before EoY.

Keep us posted. Curious if I apply for Mrs. AJK now if I will get $250 airline + $250 resort.

Also, since we know that the $200 airline credit has already gone into effect (even before 1/1/24), I wonder if the $200 resort credit also went into effect early...
