The charge just shows up as 'New Merchant' and says nothing about it being a hilton resort.

Sometimes even for resorts you have to chat with Amex to manually apply the credit after 3 months.

Yeah that's really annoying if you're trying to close the card and have to wait 3 months.  I know a couple resorts that auto credit so I'll definitely prioritize selling to people who use them there.
