Anyone experiencing problems with S&S in conjunction with prime day reward?

Yesterday Amazon added to my account $10 as "prime day reward". Since then it fails to apply any discount on S&S items. Anyone experiencing a similar problem?

you first need to make a purchase to activate the $10 coupon.
