Just applied for my first card with Citi and got declined. Tried calling but didn't help. Any suggestions? I have a 762 credit score with 3 cards in April.

HUCA.

Do you have any other relationships with citi? Other cards, loans, bank accounts, mortgage etc? That helps too.

Even if not still HUCA

Just HUCA'd again with no luck. The CR said that all she can see at the moment is that it was based on an Equifax report. I'm in NY what else pulls from there?

Another HUCA and still no luck. They did say that they don't see enough on my report which was pulled from Equifax. Can it be that Chase which pulls from Experian doesn't show up on Equifax report? Also they say that with one card open for two years is not enough history for them and my recent three new accounts are too new to base off.

Is there any way to email Mr Stork or is it only by mail?

Will this destroy my cr?

Another success over chat with citi recon (app was originally pending)--they also proactively offered to move credit offer, without a pull.. Seemed very un-citi like to me.

Easiest recon ever, if not a lil slow...
Does Chase/Amex have anything like this?

If I don't have the application ID and never received an email, is there any way to check on an application? Or is calling the only option?

ETA: Called and all is good.

Has anyone gotten a reason of "your SS does not match your name" (it does) ???

Excellent history for 20 years all around, last request was in 2012, scores 813 / 835 as of last month...only actiity recently is yearly CLI's on 2 cards. Immediate denial and when called, first she couldn't find anyhting under my SS and said I should have gotten an immediate email when I applied (I didnt, still haven't) Finally pulled it up under my name, said she would contact the exex team to look into it, called me back in 20 mins and said they told her my SS did not match and that was the problem. Huh?

Sent it in to her and waiting to hear now but was wondering if this has happened to anyone?

Side question - no info from cards you're an AU on shows up on any kind of pull/check, right?

Thanks all.

Most cards that you're an AU on will be on your report.

Hmm - do they show the same info as your own cards?
