El Al vs Aeroflot

For traveling JFK to TLV, assuming the same price, would you recommend El Al with its 787 plane and El Al's service or Aeroflot's 777 and their service?

Yes, I am serious. I have never flown either service, haven't been to Israel in 30 years unfortunately.

Sounds like you're afraid of Israeli attitude. Do you prefer Russian attitude? And are you looking to fly an extra hour and a half plus a layover to get that? You gotta be kidding. Aeroflot may be "decent", but let's not over rate it. (yes, I flew both)

Hey as crazy as it sounds; I would rather Aeroflot probably. Just flew both, though to be fair the Aeroflot was in comfort (which was still cheaper than Elal Y...)

I personally didn't mind the layover. I flew it jfk to Tlv and fell asleep right away on the second leg. And they have a few decent lounges in SVO, plus I didn't have to daven Shachris on the plane which was nice.

Obviously J is a different story. And, I'll go with ELAL.

I understand. Though I specifically wrote that the PE was still cheaper than Elal. And I believe it's usually cheaper or similar priced. Though I'm sure you know much better about that than me.

Someone must be kidding when comparing direct vs a stop no matter the airline... unless it's J on the stop vs Y on the nonstop
