We've had issues with all brands of CY Milk this summer to the point that we've stopped buying CY Milk (usually try and buy CY for the house).

He is not Makpid on C"Y, but commendably tries to use C"Y in his house if its not spoiled..

more comparable to someone who isn't strictly makpid on yoshon but tries to only buy yoshon for his house (for a variety of reasons) but lately all the yoshon products are stale....

We get delivered from various stores and have for years. Never had a problem with potf till this summer.

It might be isolated to one store but I'm almost certain it's not.

didnt realize that hashem lets you do different things out of your house. I always thought either you do it or you don’t. Sorry if I misunderstood

it's about a perceived chumrah....not what hashem let's you do or not do. Many people are makpid on tzais of R"T as chumrah but in extenuating circumstances (such as being a guest at someone else's house who is not and it I'll inconvenience others) they may not be makpid. Others see it as the ikar halacha. Same with chalav yisrael in USA. Some see it as a chumrah others as ikar hadin.... Same with yoshon.... Same with many things that some see as a chumrah (being choshesh for a specific shita) and others see it as the ikar din
