Fair enough. My point was to make it a straight-up raffle for the cruise, let's not start adding extra complications and money. We can do 300x$100, $3000x10 or whatever makes the most sense.
They have no need for a seminar in the first place.
I doubt that there are very many people that you wouldn't be able to teach a couple of tricks to. At the end of the day for most it is a hobby while for you it is a business!
I agree, agree. I think $100 tickets make the most sense.
You can easily sell 300 IMHO, so why not make it 300 @$100
So I guess there are at least a few DDFers that would like a consolation prize for all losers to be a throwback Dans Deals Seminar.
Why not make a raffle for $100 for 1 seat or $180 for 2 tickets (couple) (or something like that). Max tickets that will be sold will be to cover the cost of the tickets (so odds are 1 in 130 etc). Can start a wiki who is interested and if the right amount of ppl are then we do it. If not enough sign up then no harm no gain???
You'd have to account for those that say their interested but back out when it comes down to it.
A big point here, is finding a charity that appeals to all sects of Judaism. We need to figure out where we can give this cash to, that most of the people who are interested in this raffle, would want to give $ to.
Why do we have to make it confusing. We can leave out the charity and make a simple raffle that covers the exact cost of the trip?
