My point was to make it a straight-up raffle for the cruise, let's not start adding extra complications and money.
We can do 300x$100, $3000x10 or whatever makes the most sense.

If you want to donate to a charity they go ahead and do it. This raffle IMHO is for those that can't shell out X amount of dollars. Set a price and number of tickets to be sold.

I don't care who runs it but KISS is the way to go.

1) I think we need to possibly offer the option of 2 tickets (married couples).
2)If the wiki picks up with names maybe a mod can send 1 blast email to all DDF's (to show up as a "new email" when they log in) so that they can be aware of this? We need to increase traffic to this post as not every DDF'er checks this topic, or any subject that doesn't interest them at that week etc.

I'm going to punt on this for now. Logistics are too complicated and the 1099 issue makes this a problem for a winner.

I think we will have enough people for a raffle esp if the mods can send this out to every on DDF that has 50+ posts or something?
Maybe we can aim for $100 or $125 a ticket and if more people sign up we can lower the price accordingly.
Maybe someone here is willing to organize it for the cost of a free raffle ticket?
If we get 75+ to agree then can start collecting $$ via QP or something (can always refund if doesn't work out) for one ticket. If we get enough ppl it will become 2 tickets, if enough ppl we can lower the actual price etc.



Conditions:
 1) Winner must continuously post updates on the trip and do a TR with pics.
2) if you win 2 tickets and only need 1 you can only sell it for (??$5000??) and first offer must be to someone that participated in the raffle etc.
3)?

Anybody willing to Volunteer to organize it?? no risk and worst case you just have to refund the money? (or don't accept the money and just "reject" it)
