Well, if you know someone in brooklyn, they can pick up the monitor I linked to...otherwise, I'd recommend checking craigslist in, I guess, central jersey? Anyone else here in lakewood know which part of jersey he should check on craigslist?

Jersey shore

There isn't going to be a monitor for free every day, in every area. But depending on your area (I live near NY, so don't know much about CL in the lakewood area), there's usually something like that every few days - if not in lakewood, then maybe close by. Check the areas listed, some of them might only be 10-15 minutes away.

No, not necessarily junk, but lots of people only want a flat-screen monitor now, so they'll give away a CRT. I've given away several CRT monitors myself.

If you are ever going to be in the New Rochelle area (perhaps on your way from Lakewood to Monsey for some reason), PM me and let me know.  I have one or two CRT monitors (19" and 17") I would be happy to give you.

Old motorolla bluetooth headset with charger (micro USB). Last time I used it, it was OK, not great, not sure about battery life these days.

I know. I was cleaning out some old stuff and felt bad throwing it away! Happens to be, if your car has a cassette player (many Avalons still do) and no Ipod jack you can use this to connect your Ipod to the car.

+1 my 03 Camry has cd and cassette player. If I wouldn't have a FM transmitter I would grab this

Tape adapters are way better than FM transmitters.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

True but works fine for me so I wouldn't go out of my way just to get a tape adapter. As I said if I wouldn't have the transmitter my first choice would be the tape adapter
