Credit Cards for Airlines for trip to Israel

Hi,
I don't know if I am being realistic or not, but I would love to be able to take my family to Israel for this Pesach.
Which credit cards for points would be best?
Approx how many points do you need for an international ticket?

In general I think it's more economical to buy the revenue ticket than to spend the points. The value per point that you receive on flights to israel are usually pretty low.
