Bala Cynwyd/Lower Merion is your best best. Prob not cheap through. Just go on AirBnb, put in philly with your dates and how many beds you need, select pool in amenities, and select all of the house type options that are not apts or hotels. That should get you what you're looking for. You can tell pretty easil how far the various neighborhoods are from Philly proper, which has rivers on each side that make it clear (to the north is less clear).
TY and what about safety?
Any neighborhoods to avoid?

You probably want to avoid most neighborhoods in Philadelphia proper.  Exceptions may include most of the northeast, Rittenhouse Square or wynnefield.  Bala is a suburb and a particularly good area.

There are probably more neighborhoods that are decent, I’m just not sure which, but overall, the city is prettying much like Eastern Brooklyn and the bronx

Anywhere you're going to find a big property (ie lawn) with a pool is likely fine.

Just wanted to share on this thread that a few weeks ago spent a night by the Residence Inn Langhorne/Philadelphia the night before kids day at Sesame.  Was totally fine for just a night.  Suite wasn't huge, but was comfortable

Going to be in Center City for the Marathon on Sunday. Any recommendations for kosher food for after the race? Kosher seems to be complicated with the ikc. Is heyhummus reliably kosher? Other options?
Jury Duty: Nothing to do there but chill and write a TR. Kinda like the beach but missing the view and ocean breeze.
