I'm not sure if this was posted here yet, but Amex is keeping all of us pretty busy these days. I first saw this on Flyertalk.
This is a targeted offer:
Make 15 transactions on your card in a calendar month and get 10,000 bonus points
Runs July – November 2011
50,000 point maximum
Some report that it is for accounts opened July 2011 and later, but there are some with accounts opened earlier than that who have qualified.
Seems to just work so far for Gold personal cards
Call and ask if offer 6664 can be applied to your account!

After reading FT forums, this promo only runs till Sept 1st not Nov, and they are saying most reps will deny you unless you got your PRG card after July 1st.

Did they apply it to your account? It also said on FT if you got the 75k bonus they will deny you for this promo.

I spoke 4 times with them today. Only for applications after July 1. only for the first 5 months: July - November. So still left 4 months to go.

Called them & told them I was told about offer 6664, she checked and confirmed it with me (15 transactions for 10K per month, July-October), and I asked to get it notated onto my account. 40K points easy (missed July

). Between this and the AU bonus, wow, raining MR points. Hope they're not devaluing it anytime soon...

P.S. My card was opened Jun 21st, but they didn't say anything about it.

upgraded from blue to prg in april, called and asked for him to add offer 6664 to my account, he said since the promo started in july he couldn't help me but then he put me on hold for 10 minutes and when he came back, he said he found a bonus where since i met the requirements anyway he would just add 50k points to my MR account!!! still in shock

Called today for a card opend July 11 and I also recieved the 75000 mr points from the 5894 promo and got notated for this offer!!!!!!!!!

didn't give me a code, just said he found an offer I was eligible for that would immediately give me 50k, pretty much just kept thanking him profusely after that

without even swiping the 15 transactions he gave you the 50K ?
