Adobe Reader Help

Was working on a file for a while now and all of the sudden the file is missing and all I have are the comments...

How can I get my files back so that the comments match?

What happens when you open it in Edge or Chrome or a different version of Adobe? Try all. And try updating your PDF reader.

The file isn't saved because I don't want to ruin it completely.
I have hope that there might be a fix to reinstated back to its original format

Copy the temp file (use a different name) and save that, and try that.
