They’ve already been playing this game for awhile by doing 15,600, 15.8k, 15.1k etc prices flights (and giving them @15k only to XN) to avoid partners. This blocking X is just a more confusing for the customer way to accomplish that. Seems like that’s part of the accomplishment here…?

I recently downgraded my united card to a gateway, but on my upcoming reservation it still shows a free bag. Has anyone had this work for them in the airport? If I need to pay I would rather pay early and save. Also when I go through the steps of purchasing a bag it won't allow me to purchase my 'first' bag, rather a second bag, which costs more.

Also my wife is flying on a different confirmation number, I linked them but the chat agent said it's still up to the agent in the airport to decide if she will get a free bag since she's with me. Does anyone have experience with this.
