Make sure to post their infant fare :)

My understanding up until recently it was only possible to add an infant with ANA after being ticketed at 10% the retail price.
However, recently there was a change on Virgin's end that you can add an infant for around 10% the points and fees of under $100. Not all Reps are aware of this and you may need to get a supervisor on the line or HUCA.

My taxes and fees for 2 people RT F LAX-NRT booked late last year for next month were ~$160 total. I did not book an infant ticket at this time. Someone else I know also booked around this time and they did an infant ticket and this was before the VS change went into effect and ultimately had to pay about $1600 to ANA for the infant.

Do names have to match for Amex -> VS transfers?
Risk is opportunity

Add an AU to account, to do different name transfer.

What am I missing here? Every blogger and their mother is going on about how VS for ANA is one of the best deals on the planet, but as best as I can tell VS charges more than ANA themselves... East coast to NRT in J for example is 95k VS, but only 75k ANA.

Xfer bonuses aside, what the deal here?

1. F is the sweet spot, not J. J is just great.
2. Transfer bonuses
3. I believe 75k for ANA is only off peak. Can go up to 95k.

Also, Everyone transfers to VA, only MR and MT transfer to ANA. Not a huge deal, but it adds some flexibility.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

@Something Fishy always makes sure to dig up an old thread to ask upon, as opposed to all others that keep on creating new ones.
do you remember the topic being mentioned, or you use search? if so, how do you manage to narrow down results?

Searched, opened a couple that looked promising, and posted where it belongs.

I’m so glad @Something Fishy  revived this, saved me a search.
I was about to see if anyone has any experience booking ANA F with VS.... most I could find is 1 ticket on each date (3 month span) according to United website.
Anyone have experience booking more than 1 ticket in ANA F with VS? Any tips? Does United site usually only say 1 ticket left when in reality there is more?

You can search on ANA's website directly but I don't think VS will have any more availability than UA.
