Wood
Pros: Cheap
Easy to change shape or size as your needs for space change
DIY - most people would be able to build it from scratch or make modifications (e.g. add windows)
Can be converted to chazzon ish (replace metal screws with peg screws)
Can integrate a schlock to the structure
Cons: Heavy, Can warp over time. (note: if you use enough fasteners and are also careful to assemble it balanced this can be minimized)
         Needs lots of storage space

Fiberglass
Pros: Easy Setup (on level ground)
Length/width is reconfigurable (you just need to buy a few 2x4 beams if you change layout)
Cons: Expensive
Greenhouse effect on hot days (need to budget for several open/shut windows)
Connection threads can become bent even with proper storage (need to budget for the odd panel replacement here and there)
         Can Crack or Break

Canvas
Pros: Setup in minutes
Cons: Not accepted by all poskim
         Poor protection from cold Weather
         Wind Can be bothersome.

Maybe over YT you will think of a different way to explain the issue or maybe a light bulb will go on in my head because I have no idea what the issue is. If you can give any source maybe that would help

From looking further it looks like the issue you are bringing up is the one quoted from RSZ that he was chozer from and the dvar shmuel, kol ramaz, raz pealim, bikurei yaakov and more all assume likula. Even that discussion is only when it is needed for 7x7 and for sitting on the ledge itself. Once the ledge is not needed to make it 7x7 even in the hava amina RSZ assumed liheter.

Just so we are absofreakenlutly clear. I made this scetch on chol hamoed.

You can't just dismiss this as non issue without bringing a raaya imho.

The aforementioned poskim do not agree with you. They do not bother to discuss that aspect and assume that to be okay even though from the discussion it is clearly a part of their case.

No. It's definitely not the case. All of these mirpeset ledges are built out of concrete and there is no tzad of a issue of gediyim bokim.

Personally I can't think of why it can be kosher.

You are wrong. Did you look at the poskim inside? The earlier ones are definitely not discussing Israeli porches and quite explicitly say a case with boards. RSZ is also clearly discussing such a case when you read his discussion even if that aspect is not the typical Israeli case. Shevet Halevi is about thicker then thinner and is quite justified in saying that in such a case the discussion makes no sense at all.

K wtvr. Maybe I'll look sometime... Since you seem to just be inferring that it must be fine, I'm not taking your word for it..

Meanwhile, can you present a clear explanation of how exactly this dofen is not possul due to it not reaching the ground? How is the bottom part mitztaref? It is possul period.

From chakak on daf 4 in succah it is clear that you need lovud to join two parts of a wall.
(By shabbos tos there presents a sevara that it is to be moneya regel harabim. Not by succa.)

Difference is that there you have no wall of 10 without that.

RSZ even mentions bokim but only regarding the ledge itself.

a "wall" of 10 that is 4 off the ground is no wall at all.

You misunderstood. It is not something which is not a wall at all. It is one but is tluya. There are 2 ways to look at it either the latform is a floor and it starts there or the whole thing is wall and is just bent.
